Adam's Revenge

Fourteen years earlier....

"The first male Diclonius.." the director mumbled as he beheld the unconscious three year old child bound up in handcuffs before him. "Kill him." the gray haired man ordered to his assistant and the special forces team that caught the boy. "I don't want these damn things breeding by themselves now." the team raised their assault rifles, aiming at the small child who innocently slept, horns like cat ears atop his head. A small voice spoke out over the roar of helicopter blades, interrupting the near silence that occured. "Mr. Iroshima, I think we should keep him alive... You know... For testing purposes.." the thin woman who was his assistant stated, facing the ground. "We don't know when another male will pop up.. So we should test him while we can." she continued, as she awaited the shouting and criticism her boss constantly gave. "Excellent idea, Myra." he said in an awarding tone. This was the closest thing to a compliment she's received since she started apprenticing at the institution. She just nodded and accepted, using as few words as possible. "Take the boy into a nice and roomy cell. We don't know how strong his vectors will be, we've yet to see if males or females are dominant in this species. Brand him as well. Number 108."

The soldiers dragged the boy by his arms as his knees dragged against the ground. He was a first, and was in for a rough time. He had his number tattooed into his hand, and the testing began.

Today was a testing day for the strength of Number 108's vectors. He was waiting in his cell, a barren steel room with nothing but a toilet and a sink, and the only reason he had these was so that they wouldn't have to clean up after him. He was on short chains on the far end of the room.. He had four options. Stand by the wall, sit against the wall, sit on the toilet, or stand by the sink. When the guards came, they opened the door, but never came in. The door was four and a half meters away from him, out of reach of his vectors. They would use a card key at the door, unlocking his chains from the wall and keeping them on his wrists, and then they would use long rods to attach to the chains and serve as a transportation device. He never really got to take the chains off. As the guards led him down the hallway, they kept the rods ready behind them, and they'd have to fend him off if he seemed as if he was going to get closer. A primitive method, but they had yet to think of anything better. They came to an elevator, and took it down to the basement, the training floor. He was rechained to the wall in front of a cannon, which fired large steel projectiles at him at a set force. It was aimed at his testicles, so he had a drive to stop them. They used to aim it at the heads of Diclonius, but since he was the only male, they wanted him alive. "We're starting at 350 Hz today. Ready? Fire" the technician said, the cannon ball coming out of the barrel with deadly force. It stopped in mid air, about two and a half meters away from Adam's testicles, and dropped to the ground. "Alright, 400 next." Adam had special plans for today, and he was going to execute very soon.

"Alright, 400 Hz, ready, and fire." The projectile, like the one before, was fired and grabbed like a basketball by the transparent arms coming from Adam's back. He dropped it to the ground, his nude and mutilated form standing before the cannon. He had many lacerations due to torture and tests performed on him. They studied him closely for fourteen years of his life. Most of his life, so far. "Last test for today, 420 Hz, and fire." The heavy steel ball flew at Adam with tremendous force, but he deflected it again, this time keeping the giant ball in his hand. With in evil look in his now red eyes, he picked up another of the projectiles fired at him, each of his vectors being able to carry a cannon ball in each of his vectors. He moved closer to the wall, the chains on his wrists drooping to the ground, where he would throw the projectiles to break them. After he was free, Adam grabbed the two balls up again, along with the third one, leaving one free vector. As he turned his gaze to the man behind the cannon, he smirked. "Shoulda put al ittle more than a glass wall up, Kail." He remarked to the man at the controls, who he knew from previous tests. Suddenly, one of the projectiles he was holding jetted forward, directly through the glass and into the man that fired the cannon. Kail began to run away after his colleague was just killed, he was always a fearful man. Guards began rushing into the room, Looking around at the wreckage of the room and the single crushed body inside of it. Adam now had two vectors free, and he used them to push himself off of the ground and into the control room. They were strong, and the force that he could put into a jump was great. Before the guards could take their focus off of the body and on to him, two of them were already dead. One decapitated and one cut in two. The high frequency his vectors vibrated at allowed him to easily cut them in peices. "Come and get me." he grinned, picking up the projectile he threw through the window and again thrwoing it into the group of guards, one of them getting hit and crushed under its weight. They began to fire their weapons in vain, as the bullets would just be blocked by Adam's free vectors. Though he was now covered in blood and still nice and cut up, Adam still looked like a handsome boy, his facial features smooth and his build lean. His dirty blonde hair was now becoming soaked and matted in blood. The remaining two guards werre dispatched with the remaining two cannon balls. Adam then picked up his projectiles again.

"Number 108 has escaped, and is not showing any mercy to our guards." a guard reported to the director, saluting her. "At ease. Let him out, I doubt he'll be able to swim all the way to Japan. Plus, our snipers will be waiting for him outside. Go get our best." She ordered. Myra became the director when Iroshima was ripped apart by a test subject. Some say she locked him in the room with the subject. She was now running the place with an iron fist, an tests were more excruciating than ever, leaving the Diclonius more prone to violence. Any one of them would love the opportunity to rip her apart. Meanwhile, on the security monitors, cannon balls were flying through the now blood stained hallways as a nude male killed everyone in sight. They kept all of the subjects nude, which just made it easier to break and test them.

Adam was in a prisoner hallway, which held a Diclonius called Number 48, or Sarah. As he opened the door to her cell, she looked up at him and growled, but then grinned as she saw the horns on his head. "About time, little brother, get these chains off of me." she beamed. Adam did just that, smashing them with the cannon balls just as he did his own. "So. Who else should we get?" Adam asked, watching the other Diclonius rub her wrists. Like him, she was nude and had many wound all over her body. "Just whoever we can find on our way out. Kill all of the humans, too." Sarah remarked. He nodded and tossed her a cannon ball, and she caught it in her vectors. Having four vectors in addition to two hands was a definite advantage. "How much force from these babies can those guards stop?" Sarah asked sarcastically, grinning as she knew the answer already. Adam raised his hand to answer with a mocking "2" sign. They both left the cell, being greeted by a swarm of guards as soon as they got there. "Let's play." Sarah smirked. She had just met Adam, but all Diclonius immediately have a bond in at least one way, a hate for humans. Sarah threw her projectile, being careless and forgetting to block bullets with her vectors. One of her shackles was shot off, and she took a bullet in the arm. "Ow. You bastards." He growled, rushing up to them and remembering to block the bullets as she ripped the head off of one of them with her vectors. The fight had already yeilded seven casualties out of the twelve that were in that hall. They both made short work of the rest of them, cutting and hacking with their vectors. "There's another one just passed this hallway around the corner. I sensed her before when they took me for testing." Sarah pointed out. Adam nodded and they both went to this girl's room. "Number 96, huh? My age." Adam remarked. Sarah was a bit older. "Lucille." Sarah pointed out, the name being written in pen on the door. The guards and staff always gave the Diclonius these nicknames, though officially their names were just the numbers they were admitted in. They opened the door, let Lucille out, gave her a cannon ball, and the process repeated. This time only 5 guards were out on the hall. The battle lasted just a few very short seconds. They were running out of reinforcements.

Meanwhile, the snipers were readying themselves outside. The only thing was, the guards were too busy to come and tell them that they were dealing with three diclonius instead of one. When the trio finally made it outside, the snipers took aim. One fired and missed, and all three Diclonius turned, throwing their cannon balls at snipers. The were still a few left. They focused on Adam, the most powerful of the three. The 50 cal. rounds were too powerful and focused to block with the vectors. He managed to keep blocking shots with his shackles until his right one broke. "Into the ocean. Jump!" He exclaimed, and all three did just that. "Are we supposed to swim to Japan?" Lucille asked, her high, sweet voice almost squeaking. "This sucks." She sighed. Adam looked around. "Where's Sarah?" He wondered. He spotted her climbing into a row boat, and smirked. "Maybe we should use this!" She called out, her voice more matured than Lucille's. She was the oldest of the three. She was Twenty-three, Adam was seventeen, and Lucille was seventeen as well. As they all climbed into the boat, the snipers came to the ledge and opened fire. By this time, they were far away enough that they could block the shots with their vectors, having them all combined. The boat ride to Japan was long and boring, but worth the wait, and there were no hands rowing the oars.

She sits with her chin upon her hand, elbows on the desk. Awaiting someone..anyone to stop at the inn, the only people who even show up are Kids to buy the candy or Drunks that just go to the bar.

Walks into the bar, and takes a seat up front. Starts looking at the various bottles of liquer inquisitivly.
Nabs a bottle of firewater and poors a shot.

Elizabeth noticed her new Guest...and the bottle he grabbed.
To irritated to care she walks up to possibly start a conversation. Something to lighten her day.

She sat in the stool behind the bar infront of her customer
"haven't seen you here, are you new?"

Even though she never seen anyone she hoped this would start a conversation of some sort

SMiles disarmingly and downs the shot of fire water. And takes a deep breath.

"I am indeed new here. Never been here before actualy... I'm not sure where this is to be honest. "

A freindly but sincerly puzzeled look crosses his face.

Elizabeth cant help not to laugh.

" I see so you are a wanderer?? In that case, your drinks on me"
She wipes the counter and laughs softly to herself. she looks up
"I'm Elizabeth by the way, if you need somewhere to sleep, you are more than welcome to stay here"

Smiles apreciativly, and searches his pockets... Looking for soemthing, it occurs to him that he does not know what or why.

He looks up at Elizabeth slightly embaressed and uncertain "May I ask you a question? What year is it ?"

His hands still searching for something, he freezes...
and his hand curls around the hilt of a Glock, 45, model 21...

He arched an eyebrow
"are you serious?...Sir are you ok?" She gets a glass of water

-this is odd- she thinks to herself

Drezlin nods slowly and takes his hand off the gun tucked away in his jacket.

Looks up at Elizabeth and almost whispers, I am being serious... I don't know who I am, where I am at, or what I am doing here.

Drezlin looks away from, mind racing over all the possibilitys...

A serious expression crosses her face

"maybe you should go lay down..."

She quickly, a little scared, gets a key for his room

"here, take a nap and maybe you will remember"

It was about twenty four hours after their escape, and the trio of Diclonius was walking trough the streets of a small Japanese city. They were getting weird looks everywhere they went, and didn't know whther to blame it on the horns or the fact that they were naked. None of them really cared. They were attracting too much attention where they were, though. "Maybe we should split up. Sarah, take the east end of town, and Lucille, the west. I'll stay in the center. We'll meet at the boat in three days. Lie low... If it's possible." Adam stated. And like clockwork, they all went off into different directions. Adam looked around for sa suitable place to stay. Everywhere he went, people coming home from work stared at him, prostitutes tried to entice him, and school children ran from him. Eventually, he found an inn. He'd heard about these from one of the guards that was in charge of his hallway. They always had multiple guards in one hallway, because there really was nothing to do in terms of guarding, and there's only one prisoner per hallway, the reason being that Diclonius can sense each other and the guards were worrying that they'd plot something. As Adam walked into the inn, he noticed no one was there but a woman and a man who seemed either senile or very drunk. Adam stepped in, looking around at the place, which wasn't half bad. Could do with a bit of cleanup. He looked over at the owner of the place, half expecting her to run away. "I need a place to stay." He stated. There was a long pause. "Please..." He mumbled, using his manners.

Elizabeth looked at her new guest startled that he was naked, not really noticing the things on his head. She ran to the back room and came out with a robe and handed it over, Without questioning him she gave him a room key and a blanket.

-odd customers I am getting today- she thought.

"If you need anything, anything at all, Feel free to come to me, My name is Elizabeth"

Adam slowely put on the robe and followed the number on his key to his room, not even muttering a thank you. The room was a little more tidy than the main bar, and it had a bathroom and a stove. The bed was only average, but he couldn't complain. He'd been sleeping on concrete for fourteen years. He tried to plan ahead on what he'd do next, but the truth is, he really didn't know. He wondered how Sarah and Lucille were doing on their ends. He wasn't worried about them getting murdered or raped. Both were near as powerful as him. He went to lie down in the bed, and an emotion close to joy swelled up in his chest. He was out of the institution, which was very good, but he was also surrounded by humans. Memories of his childhood flooded his mind...
