Vampiric Tavern/ Bar. (The Catacombs)

(History) Welcome to the Catacombs, a secret bar and tavern that is located deep within the earth. Tunnels and passage ways are located around the city of the living to enter the depth of this underworld club. The catacombs are centuries old, once used as cemeteries of the early Christians and contemporary Jews. Arranged in extensive subterranean vaults and galleries, it was once served as places of burial. The catacombs were used as hiding places from persecution, as shrines to saints and martyrs, and for funeral feasts; it is doubtful that they were ever regularly used for religious services.

(Now) The Catacombs is well furbished, holding multiple places to get a drink of some of the richest and purest blood or some of the strongest alcohol, whatever your thirst is. Multiple rooms are located around the large underground dwelling to bring your kills in and drain the life of them ,or just to have a little "fun". Come in and meet new creatures. This place holds tunnels around the world, being able to be sought out for all the immortal race.

(The Setting) The Catacombs are dark and dank, holding multiple fire places through out the long and rather large hang out. Skeletons line the dirt walls creating a feeling of death and dread. Multiple bars are located through the long tunnels that move through out the towns and through out the world. Rooms that are rather small or large, which ever you request, are furnished with a four-post bed, nightstand, fire place,chairs and other things that you may need in for your stay at The Catacombs.

There is one rule. . . . .All fights are to be held behind closed doors. And please let the staff know for profits could be made out of the fight. All profits made, half will be given to the winner.

We hope you enjoy your stay at The Catacombs. Please remember to be respectful to the staff and to let someone know of spilled blood. We are not reliable for stolen or broken property and we are differently not reliable for death, wounds, or any other things that you may receive while visiting The Catacombs.

With a soft sigh, Pagono Daimonas slips into the Catacombs, silently his long coat tails fluttering behind him , he swiftly moves through the corridors finally settling on a cozy room, he goes to fireplace removing his top hat from his head he shakes his black hair into place a soft smirk playing across his youthful face. Turning he leans one against the mantel and lazily gazes around the room inspecting the other occupants looking for anyone of interest as he is in the mood for conversation. He decides to wait patiently as he sees noone of particular intelligence and begins to hum softly under his breath so only he may here.

Elizabeth walks in, The hood of her worn out cloak draped over just above her eyes, only allowing her to see straight ahead.
her eyes scanning the place as if seeing it for the first time, she removes the hood her hair swaying out of place.

"Better then out there"

She said, referring to the cold outside. the place was rather warm, a sightly place. many people crowded around drinking and laughing. She made her way to the bar and sat down awaiting the waiter.

Crashes through the door, flying into the room at dangerous speed. Makes good use of his reflexes and just barely saves himself from tripping over a table. The flip he put his body into to avoid lands him on the bar. Where he sists trying to look dignified, he continues to glance at the door anxiously.

When nothing follows him immediatly, he takes off a tattered jacket and throws it across the room into the fire place, though his shirt is little better, the black hides certain stains better.

Gathering his composure he inspects the contents behind the bar.

Velvet glares at the drunken fools stumbling into the bar. Her days were going from bad to worse and she had no interest to talk to anyone. Mortal or immortal. She looked through her private rooms curtains as more and more people walked in.
"Urghh..."
Her annoyance with the billigerant drunks would surley set her off, but she kept her composure and sipped her very red wine.
The crystal glass glowed from the fire that attempted to warm her, but had no success. Eyes quietly looking down at her fingernails as she whispered to herself.
"How could this happen...why did this happen..."
Words running into eachother and sluring. Velvets silk hand came to her face as black tears rolled down her wrist, picking up the mascara as they flowed. Sitting back in her chair she wiped the tears away and calmly composed herself.
The door burst open as an appeared to be drunken fool stumbled in and threw his coat to the fire. Velvets newly calm blood begain to boil...she thought to herself. "Why is it so hard for drunken fools to stay away from alcohol when they're already drunk.."
Her glare returned to the fire as she settled down again. Guilt building up again her mind was screaming. She quickly pulled a rope ringing a bell to the bar. A woman entered. "What can I get you miss Velour? More wine dear..?
"No darling...could you possibly send in a drunken man whom no one would miss..."

Drezlin considers asking the barman if he has any humans hidden under the counter. After staring at him for several minutes Drezlin winks and turns around to inspect the rest of the bar. He keeps glancing at the door, his facial expression losing a bit of it's care free innocense each time he does so.

After a while he feels convinced that he is not being followed and actualy begins to relax.
He notes the precense of a few immortals, and lights a ciggarette.

With a sigh he leaves the bar and sits down on a large comfortable sofa in front of the fire. One crooked over the arm rest he relaxes and melts into the padding. His blue eyes flicker in the gentle warmth of the fire light, through which he occasionaly blows a smoke ring.

And once in a while... He looks back at the door.

The curtain opened and a drunken man stumbled in. Velvet watched as he sat down next to her. His words slurred in a whiskyy fashion.
"Hhhello Miss Red Lipsss. I'd Likee some of t-that red lips on me too...heh heh"
He leaned in, knocking over Velvets wine glass. She turned his head so his neck was fully revealed to her lips. A delicate whisper floated into the mans ear.
"I may not be able to make YOUR lips red dear, but I sure as hell can help changing the color of your neck."
Pearly teeth began to appear beneath her lips, followed by two sharp fangs.
Shuffling was heard and a loud scream. The bar didn't seem to notice, only a few.
Velvet shoved the dead man over to the side.
She walked out of the room bringing her broken wine glass and setting it on the counter. "I'll need more wine please. This time, bring the bottle."
She walked back staring straight to her room. She could feel immortals and their cursed dried blood.

Elizabeth taps her fingers irritated

"Excuse me" she called to the waiter, who was clearly flirting with the drunken girl, a prostitute I was assuming, A few seats down..Elizabeth was Ignored...

"Excuse ME!!" she said louder and more irritated, but the waiter simply waved his hand to blow the request off"

She Glared -Fine- She thought reaching over the counter to grab a bottle

"Hey Lady!! Drop that bottle!! You have to pay for that!!!!"

Elizabeth said plainly "and I will, I just got it for my self because you seemed Busy at the time"

He walked over and grabbed her wrist

"How about we resolve this my way"

She jerked her wrist, but his grip abit too tight

She replied coldly "How about you take your hand off me..Or I break it off"

Taking in all the commotion around him Pagono laughs softly, as one immortal literally flies through the door, watching as a man is escorted toa private room saying softly to himself "It would seem someone is having dinner this eveing" hearing the bartender yelling at young woman, he stands stretching his lithe frame, he moves quickly sliding his body in between that of Elizabeth Kale and the bartender laying a few bills upon the bar he nods to the bartendar having added a hefty tip his voice coming out cold as the hunger flashes in his eyes, "I believe that shall cover this bottle as well as the next, and afford this lady some privacy, am I correct." He waits for a few moments before the bartendar slowly nods fear present in the man eyes, causing Pagono to chuckle softly as the man stammers "Ye yess sir Mr. Daimonas, she's covered" he nods turning his black eyes to look at Elizabeth Kale his voice taking on a gentle quality as a smile lights his youthful face "Enjoy your self M'Lady" he tips his top hat and returns to his seat by the fire, noticing the other Immortal male who arrived still glancing to the door, he tenses his body and allows his senses to roam, realizing there may well be trouble ahead.

Drezlin scowls. He pulls a face of mild disgust and blocks the images of the room from his mind.
He watches absent mindedly as a well dressed stranger rescues a young lady from a daft bartender. 'What a gentleman' he thinks to himself.

He throws the butt of his ciggarette into the fire and lays back relaxing as much as he can allow himself to.
After rubbing his temples for a while with eyes closed he stands and signals for service. A young man aproaches and asks politely "How can I help you sir ?" Drezlin smiles his innocent smile and points at his shirt, and the rips, and blood drying on it.

"I could use a fresh shirt please." And then Drezlin grins wickedly, "And I don't suppose you could get me a little something to drink ?"

The waiter nod's, "Of course sir, we have a special on twelve year scotch this evening. Or perhaps I can interest you in some brandy an-" Drezlin holds up a hand cutting him short.

He looks down at the waiter with a cocky grin. "When I said drink, I ment... Drink." He makes a comical display of pretending to bend an invisible head to the side and bite a non existant neck.

The waiter apologises profusly and hurries away. He returns moments later with a cup of crimson liquid, and a new shirt. A tight fitting T, exactly what Drezlin wanted.

Drezlin pays the young man and sniffs the contents of the glass.
He nose crinkles slightly at his disapointment. "I suppose blood is blood. Even if it's not human." And with that he drains it in a single drought.
The usual rapture of consuming this life giving drink takes him, but the ecstasy is duller, less vivid. Damn cows.

Velvet arrived back at her room. The fire was dimming and her room was becoming dark. She peered out of the curtains and spotted a man dressed very nicely sitting by the bar. He was setting down bills on the counter.
"He seems stable..." she said with a slight sigh at the end.
She looked around, feeling very lonely she leaned up and stared at him, hoping he'd look over.
Velvets eyelashes thumped against her soft skin as she looked the man up and down.
The man caught a glimpse of her. She smiled and rised her hand, moving it s bit for a small wave.
she leaned back in her chair.
"I hope he comes over.."

Smirks slightly sensing someone watching him he turns and tips his top hat to Velvet Velour, moving swiftly he steps up beside the woman and takes her hand in his, placing a soft kiss there he releases it, smiling at her with an impish quality, he ask quietly "And whom might you be my dear?" he leans back against the wall the long tails of his coat fluttering with the movement, his top hat fixed atop his head at angle as he patiently awaits for her reply , his black eyes slowly looking her up and down. Still taking stock of all the inhabitants he feels sorry for the other male Immortal at the inferior drink he has been served and motions one of the waitresses over, leaning down he whispers in her ear "I believe the man over there requested a drink, I am sure you can obtain a bit from the private stock can you not?" he smiles at the woman instantly charming her as she rushes off to do his bidding, he straightens back up and returns his attention to the female Immortal before him.

Drezlin looks up at a young waitress who hands him another drink, in a much finer crystal glass. She smiles and gestures to the well dressed young vampire who had rescued the woman at the bar. "From the gentleman across the room" Drezlin smiles and gives her a tip.

It tastes infinently better. This time the shiver he feels is enough make him part his lips in joy.

He casts out his mind and gently touches that of the man My thanks to you sir, animals always leave me wanting more.

He turns back to the bar and looks at the young woman whom the gentleman rescued.
She has the entire bottle in hand...

He looks once more back to the door, and a vicious smile splits his lips.

Closes his eyes listening to the voice in his head, casting his mind of briefly to Drezlin "You are welcome, I know what you mean." opens his eyes and nods his head to male Immortal, touching the brim of his hat briefly.
His senses perking up as he notices the man watch the door once more, hand flexing gently as it slides towards his long sword, carefully hidden by his long coat and waits, one eye one the woman before him as he too watches the door.

Elizabeth Glares at the waiter and nods to thank the young man whom saved her. She got up bringing the bottle in her hand, walking past the couches to sit on the rug in front of the fireplace to warm up, giving a quick curious glance to the man who is now staring suspiciously at the door. Then turns to the fire.

She stares in the direction of the fire but to lost in thoughts to actually see it. She takes a drink of the bottle and sets it beside her and pulls her knees to her chest so she could use them as a rest for her chin.

Drezlin finaly laughs sadisticly, all innocense lost at this point. And on cue two vampire hunters step in. One of them is bleeding badly, holding a sword with his good arm he points it at Drezlin and screams "You killed my brothers, you bastard ! I will spills your undead guts and burn them.!"

Drezlin touches the mans mind and asks him "Wasent losing every one you care about enough ? Let it go human." The man pulls a revolver and open fire, Drezlin stand there and takes the bullet so that it does not hit andy of the humans in the bar.

His eyes flicker.

He moves foreward to quick for the humans to see, he has the mans good arm ripped out of the socket and broken in three places before they realize he moved.
Drezlin aims a savage kick at the others head. It whips to the side violently as if it were rubber, when it flops back the coved in skull gives way and leaks blood to the floor as the body tumbles.

The other hunter, tries to reach a knife in his belt, but the arm is cut badly. Drezlin takes the knife from his belt and sticks it through the palm of his hand and into the floor.

He leans over smiling, and starts to tare the mans face off, which is difficult with out taring.

Elizabeth Jumps at the two entries, She quickly turns a tad late to see the beginning but just in time to see All the blood that seemed to spill everywhere, Stunned at the sight she sits there and stares.

Throws his head back and laughs heartily, his black eyes sparking at the scene before him assesing the situation he gauges that the male Immortal has it handled quite well, and sits back to enjoy the show, instinct telling him to move, he gets up and heads towards the fight staying a respectful distance, getting a small smatter of blood on his black pants he laughs harder, seeming to be amused by the situation, his ears perked towards the door, waiting to see if more fun might be had saying softly "Come now, we all know Mortals run in packs, like the sniveling dogs" he sneers slightly body tensed and waiting, not wanting to interfere in the others fight unless it seemed to be necessary, but feeling the rising bloodlust in veins, as his fangs flash in the light.

Elizabeth stands up and leaves her bottle and starts to the bark door, Being Quiet not to make a sound in fear the others may turn on her, She grabs her cloak and backs to the exit

Drezlin peels the mans face off and shoves it into his mouth as he silently screams in pain. He looks at the body and kicks it hard, it flies back out the front door.

He turns and looks at the vampire beside him he smiles.

"I picked up some hunters a while back. Hence my hasty entrance before, there were seven of them originaly. I gather they were mostly family."

He looks through the other humans pockets, finding little of interest he tosses the bodyout the door and gives the money he found to the bartender to pay for cleaning.

Looking back to the young vampire he extends a bloody hand, and notices all of the gore... h shuts his for half a second and focuses engery, the heat of it burns it off to a fine ash that trickles to the floor. He then extends his hand again and smiles

"I am Drezlin, and it is a pleasure to officialy meet you."

Drezlin looks out the door. 'That should be all of them, but... You never know with humans."

Elizabeth makes it out the door safely and peeks through a window,
-wow.....- she whispers-

Velvet still holding the mans hand jolts her eyes over to the door which had slammed over. 2 Hunters ran in, screaming at a paticular immortal. She gripped the mans hands tighter watching the fued between the three. She sat back in her seat sinking down hoping not to be seen.Velvets breath was the same pace as the running fire. After about 3 minutes the men were settling down. She stroked the mans hand, looking into his eyes. It's almost like they seemed to make everything better.
"Won't you sit down?"

Drezlin walks back to his seat in front of the fire and lights a ciggarette. He blows a blue smoke ring at the flames and loses himself in the rythem of the flames. After a moment he closes his eyes softly and places a gentle message in the mind of the fleeing mortal out side.

It's alright darling. We won't hurt you, they wanted to kill me. You may come back in if you like.

Drezlin looks back into the fire and flicks his ciggarette into it. The flames turn blue and green as they devour it.

Sniffs the air after having took the hand offered by Drezlin and giving it a firm shake, touching the brim of his hat, he introduces himself in his heavily accented voice "The name is Pagono Daimons, nice work" , he then tilts his head listening quietly to see if he senses any more hunters, the idea of a bit of sport causing a sadistic smile to transform his youthful face only slightly, he moves to a nearby table staying within in range of the door and watching.

A little embarrassed that she was noticed she went in and sat back in the floor near her drink and stared at the bodies in the doorway and back up to drezlin, she couldn't help but to ask

"Why..."

she turned and looked to the fire again.
